This song is a cover of what I consider to be one of the most deeply moving, beautiful and introspective spiritual songs I've ever heard. It was written by Bob Dylan. Whatever your faith or lack of it, speaking for myself, I've always considered myself to be a very spiritual person, regardless of whether or not I've followed any particular path of any particular faith. If you are familiar at all with the Psalms of The Bible you will immediately recognize the references to God seeing every sparrow that falls, and numbering every hair and every grain of sand. If you are a person of spiritual leanings you'll feel the depth of this song as I do. Although the argument no doubt continues for some about our origins, our purpose and what lies beyond, for most of us we already know that there is greatness beyond us.
The first time I heard this song almost 20 years ago it brought tears to my eyes, and it continues to do so today.
