@FaltzarX The puppy went far didnt he... a true hero. Zack, SOLDIER 1st Class. He wasnt born a superpowerful being, but he kept up with them. he beated them. And then sacrificed himself for Cloud, and took almost if not, the entire army of Shinra with him. We'll miss ya bro :'(

@09087497149 I'm pretty sure the spot is where Zack died. He left the sword there and visit it occasionally to remind himself of his own failures: letting Zack die, failing to carry on his legacy and failing to protect Aerith. Later on, at the end of AC, Cloud moves the sword into the church in the slums, probably so he could rest near Aerith.
