Downfall Aftermath: Alan Jones continues to speak out against Alex Hawke - November 9, 2009

When I get a stack of correspondence about something I know its time for me to do something about it. And the correspondence about this fellow Alex Hawke the Federal Liberal member for Mitchell whos coming up for reindorsement shortly, the correspondence about him is mountainous. There was on story in the weekend that he is up to his old antics of bikie gang politics in the North West. I might add that I saw a newspaper report also which suggested quite innocently Im sure, that I was singing off David Clarkes sheet. Id never met David Clarke until I spoke at the constitutional convention function, on one day last week, Thursday I think it was and he came up and introduced himself, its the first Ive ever seen him. So Im simply saying people are writing to me about this issue and it seems to be no one in the party prepared to resolve it, and with Barry OFarrell heading toward the premiership of NSW this matter needs to be resolved.

Party members have been threatened with suspension and expulsion from the party due to a youtube clip that exposes the slander and smear tactics of Alex Hawke in the seat of Mitchell. And the video thats so upset Mr Hawke reveals his involvement in the knifing of the Opposition Leader John Brogden, the rorting of the redistribution process in Mitchell, the forging of minutes, this is what the videos about, and the culling of John Howard conservatives within the party. And it says that he has the protection of the State President Nick Campbell, seemingly to do whatever he wants. And now people are going to be expelled for putting together the youtube clip.

This swift action is in stark contrast to how the Liberal Party acted about a month ago when they received a complaint about the misconduct of the same Alex Hawke. You might remember that on the 30th of September Alex Hawke called police to a meeting held at his office, simply because he didnt have the numbers at the meeting, 13 police responded including a rapid response unit. The next day Mr Hawke told the media, this blokes 32 I might add, that he was calling for an immediate inquiry and asked that it be dealt with swiftly by the Liberal Party and the authorities and the State Director Mr Neham who also seems to be in Hawkes pocket said he was investigating the matter. Barry OFarrell told the ABC that he was glad the Liberal State Director was taking a strong stance against those involved.

The police report went on to describe this is as a storm in a teacup and claimed it had been done to cause a bit of a media stir. Since this misuse of Police resources has been revealed, nothing has happened, absolutely nothing despite a formal complaint being lodged with the State Director of the Liberal Party and numerous follow up requests for a response by multiple parties. There is a 65 page legal document containing in meticulous detail the misconduct of this fellow Alex Hawke, I understand the document is in the hands of the State Director of the Liberal Party. Nothing has changed. The message seems to be clear, the party administration under the control of Nick Campbell from Johnson and Johnson seem to only want to defend the interests of his mate Alex Hawke, and any allegations are swept under the carpet. Well the party administrations got a choice to make, they can continue rorting the rules to cover up for Alex Hawke or they can see that the cancer is removed from the Liberal Party.

He is nothing but a dirty moderate attempting to take over the conservative faction. He has no qualifications apart from a year or so stacking shelves at Woolies and an Arts degree.
