Great Danes are commonly referred to as "Gentle Giants" and with good reason. They don't have the aggressive nature that most much smaller dogs possess. They're often the best dogs to mate with children, because they instinctively know how to interact with them. It's an extreme rarity to see a cross Great Dane. They're just not wired that way folks. Baby is in better hands with this dog than she would be with a house cat or poodle.

Thanks for posting. Im a shelter volunteer and the danes I have exercised are great on the leash and they were very social. I loved when the dane looked right into the camera with the ears back, cute face!
