I recently adopted a stray pup from Ahmedabad. He was found by a woman who brought him back to health. I'm a Canadian and this woman arranged for all his shots, export license and neutering and got him on a plane from Mumbai to Frankfurt and then Toronto. Pete, lives with my girlfriend and I (and our Canaan dog) in Ottawa. People in our park always stare at him and think he is the most beautiful dog. He is so smart. It's too bad Indians too often don't see the natural beauty of their dogs.

this is terrible . no dog should suffer. im a marine and stuff like this breaks my heart , you;d think this is nothing compared to what i've seen but im very attached to dogs .

I have a white pomeranian dog who is 5yrs old, but i found a 5-6 days old pup crying in mud in the cold mnth of november...i bought him home on my palm without thinking of anything...i was lucky that my parents accepted him too without any hesitation.......he now lives with us and his name is Bruno..he plays with my Pom Roxy too....luckily theres a vet who is my neighbour too...so chekup is not a workout now....

Is is possible to ship one to the US? My husband (whos from India) laughs at me becuase I want an Indian street mutt... He said once we move there no one cares and I can just pick pups up off the street... but for now... Can I have one shipped to the US?? How much would it cost??

well fed,healthy and happy indian pups can beat other pups in a beauty contest anyday IMO .

@coolgurl2993 true, but look at our so called voters, villagers vote thes people for mere hundred rupees or so, this is our own designed fate, these dogs represents disability of the system, failed n plaqued
