  • Cards pejorative definition of the word religion is incorrect and renders it meaningless.

  • Hey, Orson: Just because you lose your cool whenever somebody starts questioning your Mormon beliefs, that doesn't mean the rest of the world reacts similarly when answering questions about their own religion. Mormons are famously defensive, and you're one of the prickliest of the bunch. Project much?

  • It's quite sad to see how ignorant and close minded Orson is in real life. He's my favorite author and I think his books are genius with diverse and complex stories/characters, but clearly he's got some seriously deluded personal views. I guarantee this test will not work on a large majority of people. There are a lot of people out there who have religious beliefs but wouldn't get upset if someone challenged them no matter what because they know what they believe works for them.

  • @zoxovox Definition of religion, and i quote: "Details of belief as taught or discussed"

  • @tamyrlin1986 Your conviction is truly heartwarming, but I'll pass. I can't allow mormonism to waste any more of my time. It's already wasted enough of the world's time.

  • @kurumako So don't believe them. Check American History, starting with Manifest Destiny and Westward Expansion and the spiritual revival period in 19th cent. New York state. Look into what authenticated historians have researched and what they say. Prove me wrong. Do the research. Use whatever legitimate sources you wish. Any Holocaust historian will tell you to do the same for their subject. The facts will add up, in at least the coldest sense. Merry Christmas.

  • @tamyrlin1986 I have a hard time believing anything purported by the founders of Mormonism. Of course they'll say anything to gain sympathy and support. And secondly if that's what it takes to validate your beliefs then that's pretty sad.

  • @kurumako See: Missouri History, Mormon Extermination. See: Joseph Smith, death of. See: pretty much most of what happened to the LDS Pioneers before they made it Salt Lake, UT. I would say these instances constitute persecution in an extreme manner. Just because it doesn't happen currently does not mean it didn't happen. See: Holocaust, Nazi Germany.

  • @tamyrlin1986 I'm sorry, but getting made fun of on the internet is not extremely persecuted. I'm sure your familiar with the Holocaust?

  • This guy has good insight.

  • @zoxovox in your opinion.
