Lou Gehrig really was an amazing man. It's so sad he had to get this disease. Also... Who said it was from Lyme disease?! That's absolutely absurd!! Real answer: no one knows.

Lou Gehrig made this speech at Yankee Stadium on July 4, 1939. He died on June 2,1941 if i'm not mistaken just 17 days short of his 38th birthday.
