@urbanberndtsson they are basically your primary people they build and breed (somehow) they create mana when they are in huts also they are used to make your better units like warriors which have the most life and attack you have your preachers which convert enemy followers to your side except the other shamans and preachers that is ure spies can disguise themselves as enemy followers and sabotage buildings but they have the lowest attack and life and you have firewarriors which throw fire

This video was taken before the unit FPS speed compensation, and plus the video capture program was really trashing the fps. This has since been fixed and the units aren't slowed down by lower fps.

Lionhead doesn't hold license to the assets of Populous, EA does.
At any rate they have started working at mostly fantasy FPS based games from what I see.
