Thanks to your efforts, we were able to bring Rick Reyes, a veteran of both Iraq and Afghanistan, to Congress's attention. A former Corporal in the US Marines, Reyes was powerful and truthful as he told Senator John Kerry and the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, "I urge you on behalf of truth and patriotism to consider carefully and rethink Afghanistan. More troops, more occupation is not the answer."

Reyes's testimony raises critical concerns that Congress must address before approving a massive supplemental war funding bill in the next few weeks. Let's work to halt this war funding bill by calling our Representatives, and urging them not to vote for it until all the questions raised in these hearings have been answered. If you're not sure who represents you, find out here.

  • The war in & around Vietnam (French Indochina) was a U.N. exercise in eugenism, principally funded by the U.S. to benefit Monsanto & Dow, the manufacturers of the “defoliant” Agent Orange which is, and will continue to be for many generations, the cause of horrifying congenital defects.

  • @Chavoli1 yes good thing over 85% of Afghans wanted the Taliban out and that over 70% of Talibs were Pakistani's and Arabs- on another note from Alexander, to the Brits, Soviets, and Talibs there was only 1 region in Afghanistan that never had any of these armies step on their soil... these were the holdouts vs Talibs Soviets etc... and they were the only ethnicity to help the Americans push the Taliban out-- look up Panjshir valley if youre interested

  • Now that we got Bin Laden leave Afghanistan now!

  • There are no military solutions to Afghanistan. The Taliban are on a higher moral ground here, they are fighting for their freedom and their right 2 make thier own choices. We shud remember that the Taliban came to power WITH the help of the common Afghan man, they had all the support until the US came along with their "regime change" plans.

The US needs to leave these people alone and concentrate on the welfare of their own citizens, they're only creating enemies by invading their countries.

  • @teslaglobal if i knew who you were i would beat the fucking shit out of you. dumb piece of shit

  • why what is it you want from us america what is it you want form us!! have you not destroyed us enough have you not made us leave our country have you not created the taliban to destroy my culture and history buddha of bamiyan example. why us why does everyone want to screw this country??????? why always bring war why not leave us in peace we were not born to fight or have war we were not born to die at the age of 5 because you kill civilians then say they were taliban American g is the devil

  • Some 60,000 Americans have visited War Tax Calculator since it was set up online a week ago. Congress has come under pressure after hundreds of US citizens demanded full refund of income taxes used to pay for the war in Afghanistan. The Afghan war is said to cost Americans USD 13 million an hour.

One and a half days of funding the war in Afghanistan would get us the USD 400-million cut in heeding systems for low income home owners .

    Afghanistan says please LEAVE!!!!

  • War is totally not needed in this case. we already showed them our dick they know how big it is now fuckin pull out and lower gas prices and save some money

  • I'm a veteran of OEF and I'll say this much. This man has more of a right to speak his mind about this war, than any civilian shooting his mouth off on youtube. If you weren't there, if you weren't apart of it. Don't be the one to point your finger at this Marine and say "you are wrong".
