From the Turbografx 16 CD and PC Engine version of Ys. In my opinion of all the versions of this track out there, this one is still the best. Composer: Yuzo Koshiro. Arranger: Ryo Yonemitsu.

The game disc itself. The complete Turbo Grafx Ys soundtracks were never released on CD to my knowledge, though Hudson did officially release some music on compilation CDs.

The drip is entirely necessary, haven't you played the game? It's in the temple, being abandoned as it is.

And there are remade versions, listen to the Ys I & II Chronicles music.

This version plays when you have Feena with you on the YS I and II Complete version of the game. When you're alone a different version plays.

I never owned one, but damn it, I WANTED to. Specifically, because of Ys. I loved III, and having watched a playthrough of I and II, I know it looks even better (Albeit way shorter on I's end).

Hard to believe you could hear BGM like this in a game console during a time when the NES was dominating the console wars. The TG16 was really ahead of its time.

This music was NOT played via the TG16 sound chip. This was a track on actual CD, if you tried to play the same track in a CD player at the time, you'd hear the same song.

    Like LOOM on PC.
