How to Tell if Your Child has a Appendicitis

What is appendicitis? How do you know if it is time to go to the hospital? If you are a parent you will want to watch and learn about appendicitis. Next time one of your kids has a tummy ache you will know if it is appendicitis or not.

As a chiropractor and having just experienced this with one of my kids my perspective is unique. I think you will find it helpful.

The difficult thing, and I hope I made this point strongly enough in the video, is that lots of symptom's are "possible". Sometimes even tests like CT scans fail to show appendicitis. In fact when it comes to diagnosing things in the body almost anything is possible. Thankfully these unusual sets of signs and symptoms are rare.

I think a good rule of thumb is that if someone is sick and they are getting worse when you expected them to be getting better it is time to get a educated opinion.

I have had all the same problems but it was when i was six and now im 17 years old i had the same pains again in august just for a day and now the pains have came back ive had it for three days now i couldn't walk on the second day, but the pain is easing up, is that bad ?

@DrDarrell I Did On Friday They ept Me In As They too blood and wee samples and a scan dident show any sign of appendictis untill they decided to take a look in side, it was very inflamed and very close to bursting i was very lucky:)

I Think i have appendicitis i have all of the symtoms and when i breath in i gag and stuff its painfull in my right lower abdomen Do You think i should go to the hospital as im going to the doctors today as i have had the pain 4 day it stared at the belly button for 2 days then right abdomen and its so painfull it hurts when i walk and i walk to the side and right so do you think i have appendicitis, shall i make then give me a catscan ad what is a cat scan??

@Safia1211 I am very sorry to hear that your daughter is sick. I wish I could give you an absolute answer. Without knowing your daughter I really can't give you advise over the internet. If you watch my video and take the general advise it should give you a general idea of what to do.

I will say that appendicitis it not common in 3 year old's. It doesn't mean it can't be appendicitis, but that it is just not common.
