Steamboy 2 - Trailer

This is the trailer for a film Carl Morris and Owain Paciuszko made around Christmastime 2004.

It's a sequel their 2002 original about young Conan Cowley (Carl Morris), a home economics student with messy habits, one day he tries to clean up his act, but accidentally irons himself, transforming into Steamboy.

In this sequel he finds himself up against his mutated professor who has himself transformed into the Stainiac (Owain Paciuszko).

To be honest the film's pretty bad, but the trailer I kind of like!

Just to make it crystal clear because people seem to find it hard to understand:

This video has nothing to do with the anime movie 'Steamboy' which came out in 2006, this Steamboy (as mentioned above) was filmed in 2004 - the predecessor filmed two years before - and just shares the same title of the anime film by coincidence. It should be obvious from the imagery that this has nothing to do with the anime, it just has the same name...

Sigh...

If anything this was always intended as more of a spoof of 'Spiderman 2', much as the first one was a riff on 'Spiderman', except with crap super powers (the powers of an iron, etc.)
