Same here. I was a freshman at Lees-McRae and we used to make the trip to PB Scotts every chance to see The Spongetones in the early 80's. Good times.

Saw the Spongetones in Freedom Park in Charlotte & some nut in the crowd screams-Lynyrd Skynyrd-Jamie Hoover points at him,laughs & says Skynyrd.FUNNY!!

remember the 'new & improved PB Scotts' on Tyvlola...the Spongetones played an energy charged sold out show there in 82, note worthy for Jamie Hoover humping is stratocaster...it was a piece of CLT rock history!
