This collection of amateur film captured over a two year period raises the curtain on the notorious and stunning Bronson Creek airstrip in British Columbia. Built to service the prosperous Snip Gold Mine, this remote outpost became home to an eclectic group of fantastic old propliners with one mission: to keep production flowing out and supplies flowing in. Aircraft of a bygone era such as the Douglas DC-4, Bristol Freighter, and the stunning Aviation Traders Carvair are all featured on this sixty minute tribute.

  • That plane looks like a little 747!

  • This is a neat little spot. It was sure hopping back when that mine was open. I was fortunate to fly in and out by heli, and stay there for a month. Great people, very peaceful.

  • Wow! Talk about scud running!
