Detroit used to be a symbol of America's industry, but now is almost a ghost city.
One can find hundreds of abandoned and burnt down buildings, including some of the
major downtown skyscrapers, a stunning contrast with the American shiny image
abroad...
There are thousands of homeless who live in the area. Many of them are former
assembly line workers of the car factories that moved away to the corners of the world
with cheaper labor.

No money for a house, which has very cheap rent in Detroit, or one of the many for sale in the single thousands digits. No money for food or clothes, whether for them or their kids, but they can buy booze, crack, and hookers.

Exactly , thats why I dont feel bad for the "users" , If I was Mayor I would give an abandoned house to every homeless person as long as they dont smoke,drink alcohol or do any illegal drugs they can keep the house for free. I mean come on a FREE house = FREE shelter as long as you dont use. There would be no homeless people , just drug addicts on the street and everybody would know NOT to give them money because they had a chance for a FREE house .... FREE HOUSE
