@Ggreenvideos They're employing this product in insulating ground pads, improving insulation for about the same weight but at the expense of a little extra bulkiness. watch?v=l6i-UrcVrkg

@ihikearoundcom There's about 8 different products there. Which one are you using?

It's inflammable to what temperature? How much does the fabric sans foil weigh per unit volume?

It is interesting. My concern is the bulkiness of it. The tooling foil wind screen I use now are 4x22 and only weigh 20 grams. They will fit in every pot on the market including the Heine pot. Can this one roll up or fold up and not break apart in pieces? I wanted to improve boil times by experimenting with pots. Since they're all so different. I found that Titanium, although lighter than aluminum doesn't necessarily give a faster boil time. The GSI kettle gave me a wicked boil time of 4:15.

@Ggreenvideos Agree, the total of the one I tested is 4 ounces. I am sure you could trim it down if you like. Yes you can roll it up and I carried it in my pot. I think the GSI and the argil would be an interesting test. Wonder if you can get the boil time to 3:15
