Continuing coverage of development of my Gears of War Single Player Mission "Train Wrecked". Entering Pre-Alpha things are shaping up quite nicely, and I'm happy to announce it will be available for download this Holiday 2008.
Please Note: Gameplay will differ greatly from this video, graphics and other elements subject to change and differ from video shown.

looks good. i know how long single player levels take to make! Its crazy how many things that have to be done. You may want to fix the lighting though. I know that should be one of the last things you touch up, but the stale white lighting isnt cutting it.

Thanks, the white lighting is not final and not going to be in the map when it is released, the lighting has been updated for "dirtier" look. Nothing you see in the video is final.

I really love everything this map.One thing I think that needs fixing is the blood,its a little to bright other than that good work:)

Thanks for the feedback, I really appreciate it. The video shown above is not what the map looks like today it has received many layers of new lighting atmospherics and other elements to give it a much more realistic lighting pattern, stay tuned for another video update in the coming weeks!
