  • is this actuakl footage? any date?

  • @mjsmcd check the credits before the video rolls...it mentions the song was dubbed over video footage from a Paris concert in 1974.

  • Perhaps the best performance in the History of recorded sound. The intro on towards the individual cadence of the mid point...then close your eyes... dream as you hear the audience react as Lou Reed walks on stage, adding to the electric atmosphere and unlike other versions...singing exactly on point awarding the guitar players Dick Wagner and Steve Hunter their place in LIVE Rock n Roll History. WOW a definate desert island pick.

Stunning. I was hoping that this version had been video taped or filmed..... sad really..... one of THE most hottest songs ever played live.

  • one of 25 best rock guitars duo!

  • oh my sweet god this is beautiful...

  • @mjsmcd oc not, makes it any difference? ;-)

  • A wonderful intro, a rock n roll overture.

  • le bassiste prakash John (je crois) ... excellent! sans parler de dick hunter et rick wagner.... un des meilleurs albums du rock des seventies!

  • i love this album! listen.... 300 times! lol

  • He's gone all Bowie..dancing like a cunt. C'est la vie..

  • @jdalbers59 "Perhaps the best performance in the History of recorded sound."

    You just might be right!

  • This was always one of my absolute favorite recordings; I cranked it up at every opportunity. The rest of Rock n Roll Animal album is great, too, but Intro/Sweet Jane is a CLASSIC.

  • I still have this lp on my wall
