The policy of allowing illegal immigrants to be employed either by lack of laws against it or by lack of enforcement of existing laws against it is hypocritical. Saying that it's the consumer's responsibility to enforce law compliance by the companies one deals with is ridiculous.
I generally regard Kieth Olbermann, positively but this time he is full of it.

The people we're talking about are NOT "undocumented." That term suggests that these people came here with the intention of providing documentation, but either lost their papers or haven't gotten around to filing them. The people in question are here ILLEGALLY, & never even ATTEMPTED to provide documentation as to who they are, where they're from, what diseases they may have, what they intend to do here, or when they intend to leave, if ever.
