Born and raised in DWT (& now living in Seattle & Orlando), I feel that Bob Seger & the Silver Bullet Band is still very relevant with it's seductive grooves and lyrical truth. Having said that, whas' up with taking the video production of "The Fire Inside" and editing it to this 70's classic?

@sheryl46 That's true! Time does heal and scars do get smaller, tho some never fade completely. Sometimes the actual pain from those wounds becomes a distant memory tho one can still remember what the original pain was like at the time! I just meant that a set timeframe shouldn't be made as to how long it should take to heal from something that causes emotional pain b/c everyone does so in their own time.! (-:

Who can put a time limit on how long healing takes? There are some things that people don't recover from in the sense that those scars and memories of what caused them remain LONG after the event! A child losing their family as they know it is something that often leaves LIFE LONG scars!

I think this is absolutely one of the most beautiful songs ever written. And bob's voice is so smooth and passionate! This is just awesome, so thanks for sharing it!

This song was released just following my parents' bitter divorce in the 1970s. And there is a sadness in its words and phrasing that I'm not sure I'll ever recover from. Still, it remains one of my favorite songs of all time. Life is a funny old dog, ain't it?
