My journey through a hellish medical study of eosinophilic esophagitis. I talk about what it's like to keep a food journal, and anticipate how hard it will be to eat only elecare for a month. I record myself while still under the influence of narcotics.

  • this is a very very serious problem, my son has it and I have almost lost him around every other month since he was born, he is now 13 months old

  • @mandyandsons Thanks for your comment. I really don't mean to minimize the seriousness of EE, especially in children. The focus of these videos was to highlight how crazy this particular medical study was. But, I am glad I did it. I learned a lot about my relationship with food and *hopefully* helped further the understanding of EE so that doctors can help people like your son better. Take care.

  • Yes, EE has totally changed my life so I was shocked to hear you say it is no big deal.

  • I think we all have to minimize it in someway in order to cope with it. I am glad you did the study aswell and glad it worked out for you. I wish my son would be able to have some good relationship with food but he won't. I have heard in children it's alot different then in adults. I hope to see more news about how you are doing in feature videos

  • I have EE...It IS a serious problem when you can only eat 5 foods...
