  • im debating on what bike to get between zx6r and r6 for street ride use(commute to school). what r the + and - of each and what wud u recommend n why

  • @o0jun0o Is more usable in day to day use, more confortable for rider and passenger! Now the zx 6r is as noisy as the r6 but to me....she's clearly better. Now it depends on what you prefer...torque? Looks? Because for me, r6 has just little more grunt above 12 000 rpm than the zx 6r, but it's the only thing really, try them and you'll see....zx 6r is cheaper, perfectly built, and the engine is just terrible

  • @desperamika which engine is terrible? the r6 or 6r?

  • @o0jun0o

Both of them, zx6r has the advantage to have great torque, for example in first gear if you full throtled the zx 6r at 8000 rpm, the front end will goes up-->little wheely. You have to make this at 11 000 rpm or more with the r6 cause she lacks some torque

  • @desperamika ic ic. what about the position, i dont want to sit straight up even if its comfortable. it looks kind of embarasing in a way . not even a cruiser. something that makes u lean enough to have a sportbike posture but not too much that it kills ur wrist. im 5'8. and weight 125 lbs.

  • @o0jun0o On both of them, you have to lean to carry the handlebars, the r6 is more race orientated, more body weight is on your wrists, the kawi is more confortable and allows you to have a stylish race position too. I'm 5'10'' for 150 lbs and I find the zx 6r perfect for me. But carefull, r6 has a taller seat height, and I think that you're a litte bit too small for it. Go with the kawi, I think it suits you better

  • @o0jun0o Well, I'll stay objectiv to answer you. I've also looked for the r6 months ago, but when I tried both of them, I saw many bad things on the r6, which the zx 6r didn't have. Firstly, the r6 has no torque, all the power is above 10 000 rpm, and the r6 has a bad braking feeling on front wheel. zx 6r brakes harder, safer, with only 2 fingers, r6 needs 3 or 4 and doesn't even match the kawi, The Kawasaki has big torque for a 600, from 6000 rpm it's real fury, kawasaki engine is more usable
