  • my brother is getting a 1979 chevrolet cheyenne flatbed. he is 14 and wants to re do it with our dad

  • @chey7732 it would be worth it, they're great trucks. Only thing is the fuel mileage sucks.

  • I have one too that's been sitting for a couple of years. Can I ask about how much

the Edelbrock four barrel carb, new paint, seat, and tires set you back?

  • @SignorRavelli Well I know the paint cost about two grand, the carb was probably 200 - 300 bucks maybe, and the tires were about 400. My uncle got the carb and my dad put the paint and tires on it, it was originally rollin on 35's but without power steering it was too hard to turn in tight places.

  • are the rear lights stock or are they after if there after market wered you get them? I have a 74 shortbed stepside with them dam bug eyes

  • @Corbin4538 I belive they are stock.

  • how high was the lift

    thats perfect lift!

  • @Corbin4538 you can look in lmc magizines

  • im building on eof these only im going candy apple red fading into a pearl black and black diamond plate trim bedliner and bumpers

  • Sweet truck dude! Why did you get smaller tires? why not just get stronger power steering?

Im actually buying a 79 K10 4x4 tonight. Its got a 3" lift on new 33's, 350 w/ edelbrock 4 brl, intake, and dual exhaust. We have about 2" of snow so far today and Im so stoked. It will be fun playing in the snow tonight haha.

  • Thanks! Appreciate your help. Trying to decide if it'd be a good car for my 16 yr old son. With the cost to get it running and gas at $3.50, it might be a deal breaker.
