Cool test, but it was done by the US, not France. The countdown was done in English for goodness sakes.

Note that the countdown is in English. This is the U.S. test at Bikini in 1946, the second (Baker) detonation 90 feet underwater. The dark blob you see in the water column is a warship.

One wonders how many migrating fish survived the initial blast, only to be contaminated by the radiation, then later caught by fishermen and fed to customers.
