This is a short easy way of changing your IP address on a Mac.
People have been asking me, most of them from COD4 to get unbanned from a server. But you can use this for more than just getting unbanned from cod servers.

  • Correction: can i add words to my ip adress?

  • @MegaInsaneMusic No you can not. You can only use numbers. The first two sets are 3 digits the other ones after the 2 3 digits are usually 1 digit each for exsample 000.000.00.0.0 is usually what the patern is.

  • i keep getting 169 IP Address, does anyone know how to fix it?

  • @hell0nikki The 169 means you are using a private network like your home iinternet. You can not change it. The number will simply reset. Try changing the last number or the second to last number.

  • i haven't been able to connect to my internet for two days trying this PLEASE HELP!!!

    =(

  • @gta4everrr change it back to your old IP. If you don't know it go to network set up and do set up assistant.
