@1rockcut If that's the definition of selfish you should probably write off most activities that carry a real risk of death or serious injury.
That's not really the issue though.
My comment was only with regards to "That act is completely selfish." with 'that act' seemingly referring to the one in the video. It seemed a bit much to write it off as such without any idea about the circumstances.

@thirteenfingers Selfish?...in the sense that for a momentary thrill, if it goes wrong it will negatively affect a lot of people. Really, I don't know if the run was closed or not, the issue as I see it is copycatting
-
@1rockcut Selfish?
You sure they hadn't failed to close the jump or some other issue like closing the run front the start but leaving riders already hiking for a tree run no way of knowing what was going on?
Dead right about the dangers of groomers though... and I'm not even making a joke about ruining good powder here... the tracks on those things are absolutely savage and if they didn't actually cut you into bits, they'd make a good effort of it!

What is wrong with this ....fake or not... some asshole will try it to get a cool review by trying it....if that boarder had gone under the tracks, that boarder would be dead. It ends the boarders life, it messes up the boarders family and wrecks the life of the driver and his or her family. That act is completely selfish. How do I know this...although I wasn't the driver, I've seen the impact of someone getting killed under a groomer

the jump at :07 doesn't mean it's fake it means the film could have been damaged or part of the groommers travel was edited or cut down to save two seconds of your precious lives.
