I think it needs to be disassembled and a supercharged strobe light be installed inside. That thing should be so bright that you can't look at it.

I still have the kenner Ghost trap from the 80's. the mattel one looks a bit nicer, but I don't think I can afford it.

Loved your Ghostbusters mattel trap video! :)
I was wondering if you could point me in the right direction. I'm looking for a font similar to the "Masters of the Universe" font... the one you use in the bold blue letters to spell "Pixel Dan" at the start of your vids..? Any help would be appreciated.

Interesting how your trap makes the buzzing sound when the doors open. The other videos of this I've seen ( as well as my trap ) do not make the buzzing sound. Was yours an early prototype so you could make this review video? I wonder why they decided to delete that sound effect? Anyhow, great review and vid!

are you able to hold the trap upside down by the cord without the trap disconnecting from the cord? (kinda like how ray held the trap as venkman wrote the bill after they trapped slimer in the movie)

@ultranattt The plugs don't really "lock" in too tightly. so you can, although it doesn't feel safe. I would reccomend not doing this, as you might rish the trap falling off and possibly wrecking the electronics. Would definitely be cool if you could, though.
