I am a 15 year old girl from sewden livng with spina bifida and i have to say it's hard living with it.people don't respect you, i have tought making friends becuse nobody want's to be friend with people that have a disability,i was lucky when a was born i can walk and almost do all the things that normal teenager can do/does anybody know if their are a support group in sweden or is it just in the USA

I meant to say i use a wheel chair for long distances and crutches for short distances lol

I am 21 yrs old and i also have Spina Bifida but i guess you can say mines is Mild I guess i mean i use a wheelchair for short distances and crutches for long distances and I also wear leg braces (AFO) to get the support in my feet. I wish i could find a physical therapy treatment center that would teach me how to walk on my own with out the crutches or wheelchair. I am a 24 yr old woman living with SB. I just recently found out I have it. The doctor also told me I have a teathered spinal cord. Not exactly sure wht it means. lol! But now I am living day by day and enjoying everything I have! I am very thankful that my case is not severe. I am praying 4 those who are going through this any worse than mine!! I look to God everyday to guide me through my day! God Bless all of you who are living with this condition! He will be with us!! Amen!!!!!!
