Chef Cha Cha Dave's Steamed Mussels Provencal with Mushrooms, Linguini & Garlic sauce
Servings: 2
Ingredients:
o 3 lb Mussels
o 2 TblSp Olive Oil
o 1 TblSp Butter
o 1 TblSp Garlic (chopped)
o 10 fl oz Wine (white)
o 2 Tomatoes (chopped)
o ½ Cup Parsley (chopped -- large)
o 1 Lemon
o 8 oz Linguini
o Salt / Pepper (to taste)
o Garlic sauce
 2 TblSp Garlic (chopped)
 ¼ Cup Olive Oil
 1 TblSp Butter
 ¼ Cup Parsley (chopped)
 ½ Tomato (chopped)
 Salt / Pepper

  • Oh man, did these mussels turn out good! The only thing that I did different was that I added some heavy whipping cream, and they turned out great. I love your accent, btw! I'm guessing that you're Cajun. Thanx so much!

  • This receipe is quite different from the red sauces I have had, but I must say, yours looks out of this world delicious. I am having friends over this weekend and am serving this dish along with some crusty bread to sop up the drippings and a nice white wine. Thanks Dave.
