brilliant show, still one of my top favourites, i still miss chris's work, i hope he is able to make a comeback down the line, i enjoyed his series 'help' with paul whitehouse as well. this is the good stuff, the cream of the crop. i don't expect everyone to love it because it's not designed to be loved by the idiots of the world, it was made for those of use with a more discerning taste in comedy.

Yes, this is "so fake" because it's a BBC comedy show. People Like Us ran for two series between 1999 and 2001. The humour is based on the incompetence of the Roy Mallard character (Played by Chris Langham) and the reactions of the characters.
The "mockumentary" style was a fore-runner to the original UK version of the Office, which ironically replaced it in the schedules.
