Link YouTube with Google Account Bug

I found a bug where attempting to connect your YouTube account with a Google Account says that it worked, but then immediately forgets that you linked your accounts and asks you to link them again. I recorded it so that the steps can be reproduced, and hopefully the bug will be solved so that I may link my YouTube Account with my Google Account and be able to then link my YouTube Account with Google Buzz.

It should be noted that my Google Account was originally associated with the wrong YouTube account. In an effort to connect the correct YouTube account, I deleted the bad YouTube account. Now I still cannot connect the correct YouTube Account with my Google Account. This, no doubt, is probably the source of the issue.

Hopefully they will resolve the issue so that I can enjoy YouTube, Gmail and Google Buzz all under one account. As it is now, I cannot login to YouTube and Gmail at the same time without it acting strange or logging me out of the other.

@styles727 Wait,isn't youtube and gmail going to get automatically linked once you created a google mail account or am I mistaken and you have to link your youtube account with the gmail account at first once you created the gmail account?I have created a gmail account today,but haven't linked it yet to my youtube account,but when I tried to login on youtube it seems like I can also login with my new gmail account.But I still login with my old youtube acc.Any1 explain?

I remember a point made; now you need a Gmail account to keep all your YouTube shit you are especially being coerced into opting in to Google’s specific add campaign. I’m personally not sure on the legality of this.

Days ago I had the same damn problem, untill today I couldnt log in anymore in my main YT account (( Im ussing a back up )).

It doesnt matter if I create a G.A or try fix it other way, it always end up pleading me my cell phone number. It wouldnt be a problem if international calls werent so expensive. Fuck Youtube, and fuck Google too. GIVE ME BACK MY ACCOUNT.
