Yes, indeed. There have been countless fatal accidents, especially before they erected the small fence that stands there now. Lots of drunks and careless teenagers have fallen to their death in there, including a friend of mine when we were both attending secondary (jr. high) school in Baja California. Usually they find the bodies days afterwards, when the water decides to spew them out...

Yea I've always wondered if people have ever gotten killed trying to swim of it or accidentally fallen. Im trying to research bloe holes for a geographic assignment. If you have any links to news stories of suicides/accidental please please please message me. It would be the best help and ending my bugging curiousity. Thanks
