America Over There is the first officially released motion picture record of America's part in World War I. Every frame is genuine, taken under actual combat conditions in France. All footage was shot by the U.S. Army Signal Corp. From the opening shots of a German U-Boat sinking freighters, to the cease fire, the action is non-stop.
This film contains actual footage of the arsenal of weapons developed and used by the United States during this war, including machine guns, poison gas, liquid fire, aerial combat, aircraft bombing, parachutes, night warfare, and more.
