i doubt ill ever get lucky enough to swing a ride from a tz750 or anything like that, but i got my cr500, it does the trick.

I got to see a lot of two stroke race bikes back in the '70s. No such thing as a competitive 4 stroke back then. My 350 would get up to around 134-135 MPH with a long enough straight. I got to ride a TZ 750 in '81 or so and it was INSANE. If you are a road racer at a club or something I hope from the bottom of my heart that you get the chance to ride one of those bikes from the late '70s to early '80s. A 4 stroke will never quite do it for you ever again.

    Take care my friend.

    Hi Brian,

I usually keep my mouth shut when I see someone write something so utterly stupid but Barry Sheene was my hero growing up and even when Roberts was kicking ass I still always rooted for Barry. I raced a TZ 350 back in the days when they first had disc brakes (1977or so) and a fellow racer gave me the chance to ride a race prepped (not factory though) RG500 in '79. It was NOT slow. I will remember that forever. I would kill for that bike in the vid.

    Take care Bro.
