http://www.godgunsgutsglory.com - First things first, I hope and pray that "Catholic" members watching this be not yet reprobates and can learn the truth so they can escape one of the largest false religions ever devised by Satan.

I start the series with the Catholic teaching that the clergy (Pope, Priest, etc) can not take a wife and the Nuns can't take a husband.

This is not biblical at all. It is made up heresy by the Vatican and pope. And it only leads to fornication or pedophilia, which has ALWAYS been a rampant problem with the Catholic Church!

I've read my KJV front to back. Almost every key person be it a Priest or Teacher, was married and had a family. Even AFTER God manifested in the flesh as Jesus Christ.

As far as guidelines for a preacher:
1 Timothy 3 - Office of a Bishop

2 A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;
3 Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous;
4 One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity;
5 (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?)

Note that God makes the comparison to a GOOD preacher with a man who can take care of his own wife and kids? A man who properly raises his own household (wife and kids) is key to a good church preacher.

God also warned us about heresy such as what the Catholic Cult created:
1 Timothy 4

1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.

And if you're going to spew the "Judge not..." out of context once again... DON'T!

For I am commanded to tell you the truth, no matter if it is popular at the time or not:

2 Timothy 4

1 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;

2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.

3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

The thing with the Catholics is that they do NOT study God's word in the Catholic Church. Rather they listen to a heretic spoon feed his own interpretation, keeping the members ignorant.

If the Catholic Church Members read their Bibles, even one of the Catholic perversions, they would perhaps learn the truth!

Check back soon for future parts to this series.

  • You are blind. Catholic church was set up by CHRIST when he said "you are peter the rock and on this rock I will build my church." Humans do sin. CHRIST is the only perfect one without sin.

  • @33heis

    I am blind. HA HA HA! That actually made me laugh.

    Catholic members don't even know the Bible., That's why they are duped by pedophile pope and priests who KEEP THEM IGNORANT!

    The Bible CONDEMNS what goes on in that SICK CULT!

    I backed up my stance with God's irrefutable word.

    Of course you will spew nonsense because you are ignorant of God's word.

  • @GodGunsGutsGlory4KJV FYI Easter Catholic men are permitted to be married before becoming priests. It is only in the Roman Catholic tradition that married men are not permitted to become priests.

  • @1224AMP

    Easter Catholic???

    And I dunno. I've never heard of any married Catholic priests around here.

    Are not all Catholic Cults ruled by the Vatican and the anti-Christ Pope?

  • @GodGunsGutsGlory4KJV Eastern Catholics are in communion with Rome, but were established in different regions by St Peter, St James, and St Mark. Eastern Catholics have there own Bishops and traditions, but have the same core beliefs as the Roman Catholics. In these other traditions, a married man is still permitted to become a priest. God be with you.

  • @1224AMP

    Well, anyone who shares the core beliefs with Catholicism is not saved.

    We are saved by FAITH ALONE on Jesus Christ.

    Which is the opposite of that cult which relies one rituals and confessing of sins to men. It is sick.

    It is so hard to get through to Catholics and get them saved and away from that cult.

    Unlike trying to save Sodomites, at least it is possible to save a Catholic. Then they are EX Catholic. :-)

  • Lol, you're funny.

  • Catholic men are not forbidden to marry, they have the option of either marriage, single life, or the celibate priesthood as a freely chosen sacrifice to God, read (Mt 19:12). 1 Timothy 4:3, far from impugning the Catholic discipline of priestly celibacy, condemns those heresies (like the Manichaeans and Albigensians) which said marriage is evil because the body is evil. Paul wasn't warning Timothy about the Catholic discipline--after all, Paul himself followed it!

  • @GodGunsGutsGlory4KJV I meant Eastern. And as you point out St. Paul encourages us to remain celibate unless we can't control ourselves regardless of whether we are priests. Celibacy in the Roman Catholic church was not required until ruffly 1000 years ago to curb a different sort of problem, whick no longer exists. I'm not sure of the history of the teachings you recieve, but the Bishop of Rome reads the bible as did all the bishops preceding him back to St Peter.

  • @33heis You've never met me. You know nothing about me. How do you know that I am not without sin?
