@mozarttheraver123 within a year of the videos being taken down the few people who saw it will practically forget it existed, and also with the video down no one else will be subjected to learn about that movie from a popular source, and since they wont know it existed it cant compel them to watch the actual film. videos only spread and get more views, thats more and more advertisement for the original work.

@hunter047 On the contary, in theory the studio's should benefit as this may compel people to watch the actual film - the only downside is its all in german......

Give it a year or two, I GUARANTEE you they'll start taking down video clips too. Downfall parodies and Hitler Rants will vanish because the studio they were shot at doesn't approve them. I mean...they lose so much money off of people making these parodies and advertising the film right? Infact...it doesn't even matter that these parodies inspired me to go see the real film. Needless to say I loved it...

I agree with him too! We can't have Youtube censoring the hell out of us can we? And yes, Youtube gets fucking worse. It''s not like we're making a penny out of these parodies. And yes, the users have made Youtube a success and the bureaucrats of Youtube are ruining it just by removing a soundtrack or a whole video for the smallesty thing!

@mateuspradosousa well, the Youtube partners (ie. wheezywaiter, charlieissocoollike, ect.) are making money from their videos.
