I pity this game: SoulCalibur is a great title, even better as a port... on the Dreamcast. It is still a great game.

@LilJay03 He did, Seigfried took it from him :3

@alex102910291029 Spoiler alert - he's in sc5.

this game was pretty lame, gameplay wise

This game suck big way. The final boss can fart laser beams out oh his ass anytime, creating clones of himself can do the same thing.. Of course you can not hurt him effectivly because he is not even on the ground not even near to hit him.
What the heal is with the main characters sword, It is as effective as a spoon I mean come one It could be an awesome game if the creators were not lazy. No special attacks why? >: C

@MJNSEIFER Because this game isn't cannon in the SC series.

Whoa oh god whats happen to Siegfried face it too girly!? nooooooo I want your cool manly face from SC3 back!! DX

As far i am introduced to Soul saga the Soul Edge is a weapon that shapeshifts into a weapon in which its wielder is most excelled. But the Blade was shaterd many times even before Cervantes so its never in its complete form. So the plade changes look depending how complete it is and plus the Soul Edge has a mind of its own so called Inferno.

@RyuBlue No offense, but I know it shapeshifts - in Soul canon storyline it looked like *one* of Cervantes' swords (Soul Edge is normally one weapon, but if "you" are better at fighting with two weapons it seperates) It seperated into two for Cervantes, and one of them was destroyed, and Sieg got the other one. I get that it shifted to a sword he would be more skilled with, It's just that this game does it out of order.
CONTINUED: Further more, when Cervantes had Soul Edge it seperated into two swords (as Cervantes is better at fighting with two swords rather than one), but one of the swords was destroyed in a fight against Sophita and Taki (it was Taki who "killed" Cervantes), yet in the next vid Siegfried fights Cervantes, with Souledge. Namco are great at storylines, particularly in the SC series, so I can't understand why all the Soul Blade parts are out of order here.

@MJNSEIFER Soul Edge is a shapeshifing sword, remember? It simply changed from 2 swords into 1. Also, The fight with Cervantes here is the final battle from Soul Blade, when Cervantes rises up again (Represented as Inferno in SB)

I could see why they had it so Link's voice actor voiced Siegfried. He was decently young during when this game took place.

@RebeccaxChambers96 He voices him in ALL of his appearances, even when he was nightmare in SC2.
