majority of workers in one of my business dept are catholic christians, they celebrate easter, chirtmas and if i had to request them to do over time on sundays i ask/request them to come after church.

islam is not just a religion but a way of life.

@SuperPricil well dear thats almost what i was even before praying.

my parents first lesson when entered professional life for me never hurt dignity and self respect of a person if specially he is poor or working under you.

now i even feel more passion for people, even more to show compassion be tender as i am hot head as well.

other than what you had pointed out i am forbidden to say bad words about any one who is not present its one of biggest sin.

@JunaidKhan011 Do you pray ? don't you! Are you helping the poor in spirit ? are you showing mercy to the people ? do you feel compassion for the people ? Are you tender warm, showing deep feelings, are you aprroachable and kind ? Are you impartial? But are you treating others with dignity? Are you humble ?

Are you sensitive to the needs of others?

This was, and is and will be Yehoshua ( Jesus), that's why is called the Son of God .

Apply it ! Than ,God for sure will hear your prayers.

@SuperPricil as for repeating soorahs again and again: it goes like that a year before i knew only 2-3 soorahs for prayer and gradually i wanted to go higher on ladder of emaan and now i offer alternate and different soorahs for every prayer.

and even if someone is offering same soorahs, purpose of prayer is to get nearer to God and when you leave everything aside and do prayer at prescribed time its declaration of your emaan and belief.

@SuperPricil you see here you are making an assumption that praying 5 times with same soorah is monotonous although can be but its not mechanical i can assure you.

i am practicing muslim and i can tell you its very hard for me still to offer 5 times a day.

one can not perform it 5 times a day unless he really wants to attain grace or become nearer to GOD.
