The title of this makes me laugh like hell. I have a Mossberg 500 12g that stays loaded and secured for easy access and a Glock 23 for CC that retires to the nightstand at the end.of the day. You've got good taste brother stay safe!

a year is better than not at all, my state doesnt issue carry permit at all to civilians; only purchase permit for your house and to the range and back.

Cool. It take a year you said for permit. That's too long

reasons why people like 12s more than 20s, more ammo selection, and its what the military likes. Other than that, 20 is more controllable, but its only about 5% reduced power. I actually seem to get more hits on clays with 20 than 12. Load up buckshot and Im not gonna feel like my dick has gotten any smaller. As for the Glocks, I would duracoat em and Im gonna throw a Laserlyte sight on whenever I get mine. Im still working on my AR project though, for which I will eventually put up vids.

throw a sling and a shell carrier on and set it up as a door breecher. In real life, if youre the one carrying the shotgun, you can quickly load a slug and take a more rifleish shot. The slug is gonna still hurt at 150 yards, but even buckshot... i dont think it goes that far.
I promise, if you hit someone in the chest with a 20 gauge slug, they will damn nearly explode in half.

A 20 gauge is just fine for any home defense situation, last time i checked #2 or number #3 buck shot is just fine for a human sized target.
