@mcdudly00 I never mentioned God, nor did I imply a world with the absence of religion was invaluable. I pointed out that atheism is not a religion and religion is harmful and should probably have less influence on our society than how it currently does. It isn't essential, as we can see plenty of counties who are prosperous without it. People don't even follow their own religions exactly, they just bend it to fit the code of morality society has taught us.

@ArmyOfWalrus saying thats a godless world is more valuable is in my oppinion bullshit, as things take the value we give them, and it might have been that people or someone invented god to make himself feel better, just like an orphan wanting a dad,

about religion, as a set of laws i doubt its a problem by itself.. but the people who want to take every thing in the name of a good law (religion), this ofcourse give it a bad name,

religion is in some way essential for a society, its a good law.

@ArmyOfWalrus well, i was talking about god not religion, religion can be replaced by government laws( uncorrupted ones), and true that it isnt clear but if god didnt invent religion then it was invented for a reason, just like laws were invented for a reason, and what i meant is, "the value of a godless world" looked to me as if youre implying that its better but it really isnt, its just going to make things clear but not worth mentioning any better value of a world

@mcdudly00 Atheism is not a religion, but the absence and skepticism of religion. Also,to say removing religion wouldn't be beneficial is a statement that hasn't been proven. It can, however, be proven that religion is harmful based on how it negatively affects the world to this day.
