Vauxhall cold start 2008 Drive and test

Hi all iv had a few requests from people about the current state of my trusty combo van. So today i decided to make a video. Cold starting from standing for months again Then a quick drive about. This is the engine i fitted over a weekend fully rebuilt 1.7 Isuzu lump :)

Oh, by the way, when you broke down the old busted engine, Is this diesel engine a direct-injection OR a Indirect-injection diesel engine. I just can't tell.

when you say you fully rebuilt the engine does that inclued big end bearings or did you just do the head gasket, the reason i ask is im rebuilding an engine for my astra and its hard to find parts for these engines, watch my videos theres a couple of it on the dyno.

snap ive got a red 1 m reg, a blue t reg, and 3 white ones 2 t regs, and 1 m reg. best vans ive had but just a shame they dint carry on making them as there getting a bit too old now

wonder if you can help? i have a 96 combo,i changed thermostat as engine temp was low but gauge is showing zero,i got heat in heater inside but could be a lot hotter?what do you think my prob is?
