As important as it is to get banking done, lots of people just don't have the time to get to their bank. That's the case for champion kayaker Brett Heyl, who appreciates the freedom of newly available mobile banking from Bank of America -- which connects him to his finances, anywhere, anytime.
"I spend a lot of time on the go - and in the water," said Heyl. "So it's cool that I can pay my bills, transfer money and check my balances all on my mobile phone."
A cell phone with mobile Internet access is all that's needed. Bank of America's mobile banking works with all mobile carriers and doesn't require software to download. Heyl says it also offers peace of mind.
"Mobile banking with Bank of America is secure," said Heyl. "No information is stored on the phone and encryption helps ensure that my personal finances stay personal."
To take advantage of your bank on-the-go, log onto www.bofa.mobi from your cell phone browser. Mobile banking service is free to online banking customers. Web access is needed to use mobile banking service. Check with your wireless carrier for details on specific fees and charges.
