BBC coverage of the Motegi circuit in Japan Oct 2, 2011. Casey Stoner crests the hill and his rear wheel goes crazy under braking. He manages to keep the bike up and gets it back on the track.

He drops from 1st to 7th but crawls back up to 3rd by the end of the race.

  • You guys are clowns. The shaking caused his brake pads to move away from the rotor. He grabs the brake and it does nothing -- watch closely -- so he, at 150mph, has the presence of mind to pump the brake and get the thing slowed in time to keep it upright.

Hardly a fail. More like amazing. You, I, or anyone else would have shit our pants.

  • @xpantarius so far only Blue13 called it a fail. The ok response was thick sarcasm. I'm glad you see the skill involved. That's why I uploaded it. To think that with a close call like that an all the crap on his tires that he climbs back from 7th to 3rd by race end is amazing indeed. He really deserved the win this year. I'm looking forward to see what the Honda brings to 1000cc.

  • @TheBlue013 ok

  • @xpantarius YOU ARE COMPLITLY RIGHT!!

  • My comment was more shit-stirring than it was serious as well, though the point is true.
