At the heart of evolution is the story of an awakening universe, matter awakening to Spirit, Godhead, Omega Point, or "Life." Being and becoming. In that sense, the story of the evolution of consciousness is a way for a greater "Being" to begin to shine through.

A few interesting connections....

Process philosophy, as well as in Teilhard's philosophy, the heart of all matter is Spirit, or God. Divine consciousness within all "form." The universe, then, is always and already and expression of the Whole. Formless manifests form and awakens to itself.

Evolution is a process of "sublimating," the world in the divine, two as one. Being and becoming, flux and direction. Ever more penetrating and awakening...

In that sense, consciousness is not your brain. It is infinitely more, the "ever present origin." Matter, life, the nervous system, the brain, mind itself are "conduits," for a gradual awakening in the material world. Humans are significant here, because we are, at least on this world, one of the first "forms" to begin to recognize the inner Wholeness to reality.

thank you vey much for sharing this with me.. the unisiverse is a organism not a machine and we are part of the organism as cells are to a functioning body. ((: thank you I wish more people could understand this.. but 2012 is coming and like human nature we earn the hard way but what ever disaster will occur on december 21st 2012 will be our next step in a consciousness evolution

The Man possessing consciousness - a great mystery meanwhile for a science and even religion. For this purpose is necessary a sensitive experience which is far outside of experience of usual nervous system.

And intellect (ability to analyze a reality and self) - a special step of evolution of man on a way from an animal to Genius, and then to Divine-man. But thanks for beautiful video.
