This is the pickup winder i've just finished putting together. Special thanks to sgt_scotch for his stellar Solidworks skills. The winder has an auto traverse adjustable to various speed by changing the belts. The belts are basic O-rings available for cheap online. Everything used to make this winder came from McMaster Carr and my Local Aluminum retailer.
From one engineer to another...GREAT JOB!
I'm going to be designing one soon but way more simple. It's magical ( yours).

Wholy Fuck man o.O!! This is by FAR the most intricut and most elegant Pickup winder i've ever laid eyes on my friedn. What a total work of art, I mean the design is just beautiful. Your gonna make some coin selling this off if you play your cards right, and could get the price point right. Hell even if you designed all the parts as a kit and the user assembled it to cut price. I am genuenaly impressed with your design. If you ever need someone to sell them online, you let me know. Cheers, IC.
