@termsofusepolice There is a reason people "destroyed the spirit and ideals" in the first place: By the late 70s the superhero was more than 40 years old and were unchanged for 20. Miller, among others, took the concept of a superhero and they took it apart to see how it works and learn new ways to use it. As they were, superheroes were stale and had been for years. Its only recently that the deconstruction has gotten stale and reconstruction has begun.

@MrSinister99 Listen right wing nutjob...I've been reading Batman since '81. I bet you havent. I picked up my 1st copy in London and then continued to purchase batbooks in the southeast. Yes he's American but luckily Miller's audience is very limited to people like you because his work just reeks of a bitter 14 year old child. DC is stupid to mess with the global appeal Batman has. But it will be a failure just like all of Miller's contemporary work.
