So sad as he should know better than the twisting & lack of research on Jesus. We have more info, historically confirmed w/over 50 non-Biblical writings, archaeological support, etc, THAN we do of most items thru-out history even written about centuries after events. God is not his/our baby-sitter! This earth life is nothing =more of a test of how we live it & love each other & love God & goodness, not evil. So this "teacher" loves Hitch- who said he hopes Mother Teresa rots in hell? So nice.

@GoodyBob,we do not have any reliable record of what Jesus said or did,nor the purposes of his actions whatever they were,if indeed he ever existed,which is by no means certain.How can I love your Biblical god,who endorses slavery,mass murder,killing me because I work on Saturdays,child abuse,infanticide?I can't.Both Hitchens and Mother Theresa are controversial.I don't agree100%with Hitchens.Hitchens did not hope Mother Theresa rots in hell,since he did not believe that hell even exists.

@saintpine LOL, are you serious? Yes I have, but you obviously have not researched much on NDE's. In fact, many if not most NDE's, were agnostics or atheists that had life altering experiences. See youtube on Howard Storm, & especially the 5 part series " to Hell & Back"! Then see thousands of others please. BTW, none came back & said they saw an atheist greet them in the light.

Hitch was and will always be a hero of mine ! He was an articulate and very intelligent man... a great loss . I have all his books and apply many of his thoughts and teachings into my own life. This tribute to him was excellent !

You follow in his footsteps and I know you are greatly admired by your subscribers here, including me ! Thank you for posting such profound vidoes ! They are bound to lead many who live in religious darkness into the truth and light of Science and Reason.

Being an atheist can in no way reinforce your argument, you don’t need intelligence, skepticism or whatever, a simple incredulity is more than enough.

You come with some serious scientific experiments and I will take into consideration, all that I have seen is quite heavily social religiously based nonsense.

And that's about a week of research.

@ToucanSamsAss Exactly friend, I agree. Jesus wants love & righteousness in our hearts for God, & love & COMPASSION for each other. Not idols & crucifixes & beads like Roman Catholics, & repetitive chants like Islam, etc.. He's wants all to have joy "on the streets, not in a closet chanting".

@edwardtarte Deductive reasoning alone says something that all willingly accepted torture for their belief & witness. In 64AD only 30 yrs after Jesus, Tacitus says Nero killed the HUGE multitude of Xtians for the Great Fire. Where did they all come from so fast. The Gopsels are continually being proved right historically thru archaeology even. They just found The Pool of Siloam where Gospels say Jesus healed the blind man. Skeptics for centuries said it never existed. It's there in exact DETAIL.

@edwardtarte There's a lot redneck stuff by men/Old Roman Catholic twists added. But Jesus said our God is true love, & had to use parables for all to grasp concepts as referring to spiritual or even like quantum physics. (IMHO I think he had to use some scare tactics on the airhead brutes to help comprehend too). I believe God is love, light & energy of goodness thereof, as the thousands of PROVEN NDE's confirm. I agree w/you in that much of the God the Bible was ancient mans assumptions & fear

Yes brother, we have more than the new-ager clones give credit for on the countless history blocking, misleading sites & money makers like Zeitgeist, Ehrman, Dawkins, etc. Sir William Ramsay, famous EX-atheist archaeologist tried to prove Luke/Book of Acts wrong. After yrs of digs he said Luke was correct to the smallest detail. I don't like the Old test God either
