@TheDoom13 "Lord" doesn't mean "god." They're simply using the term "Lord Buddha" as a sign of respect. He was more than just a teacher. He was a fully enlightened Buddha. The implication would be inherent in native eastern tongues, but in order to really portray the level of importance in English, it makes sense to refer to him as "Lord Buddha."
It's a very Theravadan/Hinayana thing to do. Very few Mahayanists would say "Lord Buddha," but rather "Buddha Shakyamuni" since there are many Buddhas
