  • is this the aus8 version or the san mai iii?

  • @p3rc Aus8a version of the blade i payed 100 dolars for it the san mai III would be more pricey

  • Amazing display of a good knife and the users stamina and strength! That looked like 4 inch hardwood tree, and you brought it down in a few minutes. I was thinking about getting a OSI for self-defense and survival/bush purposes. I will subscribe to hope for more videos like this, thank you!

  • @ComradeGeneralK For self defense it would be a great option its just so light in the hand i will make a knife fighting video with it in the future the real problem i had in the chopping was that it just is not made to chop batoning and cutting is just perfect and the handle is perfect i like it over the OSS 10 times with a dagger u just cant do anything very well exept for fighting with a knife and cutting meats

  • @dediu00ro I agree, you don't get much use out of the double-edge OSS for other things besides fighting. I can imagine doing so many survival chores with a OSI, like batoning, gutting fish, making shelter, and making feather sticks. Was the handle comfortable while chomping? Did it obsorb the impact of the strikes?

  • @ComradeGeneralK Yeah it does absorb some of the impact but its more about the grip its just perfect if it would be more rubber it would affect the grip when u are cutting heavy duty rubber and stuff like that it does its job even when covered in fish fat and blood the finger grove will do its job and help the traction

  • That knife sucks! Look at how long it took him to cut that little tree down? A $75 Becker BK9 would have taken that tree down with a fraction of chops!

  • ya know they make axes for this mate
