This is probably the most obscure song I've ever covered, but I really like this song. It was originally done by the Uruguayan beat band, "Los Shakers." Los Shakers are a great group, and their 60s recordings have some of the best 60s Mersey rock you can find. This particular song was written in 1965 by Hugo and Osvaldo Fattoruso. I threw on some of my own little arrangements (including the chiming 12-string style guitar). About the 12-string, to get that chime-like sound, I doubled the riffs an octave lower (not shown).
Why do I love this song? It's a great 60s love tune, the harmonies are great, as are the bossa-nova influences Los Shakers had in their songs. You'll find the chord progression during the chorus is really quite interesting. I changed a few of the lyrics so that they would work better in English. Los Shakers were owesome. I like "breat it all" and "Let Me Tell You" as well. Nice you can pick up some southamerican oldies band.
